PHOTOGRAPHY - PG 12
The Galvestonian is a 12-story condo on E. Beach in Galveston Texas. Built in 1984, it has 174 resort units. It contains penthouse suites with up to 5 bedrooms overlooking the ocean. I'm glad I waited for a perfectly clear sky with bright lighting. The composition and other choices created a great mood.
Williams Tower on Post Oak Blvd was built in 1983. It stands 909-feet tall and is 64 stories. It averages 14-feet per level in height. It's the tallest skyscraper in uptown Houston. I created multiple juxtapositions using the lighting and low level surrounding structures. The composition and other choices created an amazing mood.
This is Charlie the oldest Zebra at the Houston Zoo. Charlie was born in the zoo in the early 80's and lived there for 32 years until she died. She was a favorite sight and like an old friend. She was almost always seen trotting around, exercising, and leading other larger animals around. Charlie was about to turn 33 years old when she died in 2016.
This is aircraft a7-bbg, a Boeing 777 traveling from Houston to Doha Qatar. This model of airplane has been around since 1995, and seats around 400 people. That's a large air bus. Flights from the U.S. to Qatar travel across the Atlantic Ocean, West Europe, and North Africa in a very long flight. Thin clouds helped me to create the mood I wanted, and I like the composition I achieved.
