Tamandua Anteater Searching For Ants
This is a friendly Tamandua anteater, and he's searching a field for ants, termites, bees, and beetles, which they enjoy as their diet.
Tamanduas are part of the Myrmecophagidae family and live around 10-15 years on average in the wild.
Many people confuse them with aardvarks or echidnas.
This little ant hunter was very nice if you weren't a small insect.
He could almost be a pet, but it's not recommended.
