Patriotic Neighborhood With American Flags Flying
In this patriotic neighborhood, the street is filled with flying American flags. It had been windy and they really were flying well for a while.
It's a tradition that happens several times per year, that many of the neighborhoods put their flags up.
Near the curb by the street, there is a buried pvc pipe, that the flag pole rests in.
They usually take them down around Monday or Tuesday after a holiday weekend.
There is actually a person from the local organization who drives around with all the flags, and puts the flags into the ground going into the weekend.
Then they return afterwards to retrieve them and save them for next time.
