Meteorite Owner Sherrie James Answers Questions From Window of Houston Home Where Space Rock Crashed
In March of 2026, Sherrie James, her daughter, and grandson were all surprised when a meteorite came crashing into their home through the roof.
Media, scientists, and meteorite hunters flocked to the home of the historic crash.

The falling space rock did significant damage, but everybody was okay because the meteorite didn't land on anyone.
The rock is estimated to be about 4.56 billion years old and from somewhere between Mars and the giant planet Jupiter.
Jupiter is the fifth rock from the sun and it is quite rare that a meteorite fall onto land, especially in a large metropolitan area like Houston, Texas.
