Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital's East Tower Construction
This is Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital's East Tower being built in Shenandoah, just south of The Woodlands.
This is a photo showing construction once they had the steel up and were starting to put in the walls.
There wasn't a lot being built during this time due to the recession, so it was nice to see this go up,
especially since medical is so critical.
These rectangular buildings are always massive and this one is too, at 310,000 square feet.
It has 18 operating rooms and 144 medical beds, along with two gyms for physcial therapy.
There are several mini medical centers outside of downtown Houston, and Shenandoah has developed into one of them.
