Houston Texas Temple on Champion Forest
This is the Houston Texas Temple on Champion Forest drive. Construction of this church was completed in August of 2000. It's also known as the Houston Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was commissioned to be built in 1997 by the religion's 15th president Gordon Hinckley. The exterior is made from stone and granite and there's a large water fountain in front. I waited for a bright clear day to photograph it to juxtapose the church against the clear bright sky. My composition, lighting, and other choices were used to create a great positive aura and powerful feel.
